Freneticity and Anonymity

Freneticity and Anonymity

were walking to the fair.
Standing by the twister,
He leaned over and kissed her,
And slowly stroked her hair.

Unaware of the words he was to speak:
'If we're meant to be,
Will you kiss me on the cheek?'

Freneticity and Anonymity

were married in the spring.
He dealt all day with dirty looks,
and orders from impatient cooks,
So he could by that ring.

Standing tall in Gretna Green.
(The smartest suit I've ever seen)
He looked her in the eye.

Took her by the hand and told her,
'She would be the one
That he would spend his days with
Growing older in the sun.'

Freneticity and Anonymity

Lived side by side.
In each others pockets
In each others lockets,
Five years down the line:

He was busy drinking,
She was busy thinking,
The cracks
began
to grow...

And in his heart he fucked it up,
But she would never know.
And in her heart she wanted to
But she would never show.

Freneticity and Anonymity

Were always polar friends,
Like chalk and cheese,
These fallen leaves,
Won't make it to the end.

Their marriage never lasted,
Their opposites commanded,
Attractions on the side.

Unaware of the words he was to say.

In his haste he cried,
"I never loved you anyway"
In his haste he cried,
"I never loved you anyway."
