Ethan Canter was born in Canada but presently resides in Brighton. He grew up secluded from the world in a log cabin in the forests of North-West Ontario. After his parents divorced and his mother died, Ethan returned to the west coast of Canada to dedicate himself to writing. He holds a BFA in Creative Writing from the University of Victoria (Canada). His one-act play crux was adapted and performed at the Vancouver International Fringe Festival in 2000. His poetry has appeared in magazines and anthologies in Canada and the United States.
